Metallica celebrated Robert Trujillo’s birthday at the second concert stop of the World Magnetic 2008/2009 USA tour at Tingley Coliseum venue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Short concert review was posted on Metallica On Tour website:
WOW!!! Those were some loud motherfuckers in Albuquerque! It’s been 11 since Metallica played in Albuquerque and the fans must’ve been storing all kinds of energy during that time because they were LOUD and way into the show. What a great show for Robert to celebrate his birthday… and did he get the pie-ing of a lifetime! Happy Birthday Robert and Thank You Albuquerque!

Metallica setlist was slightly changed compared to the concert setlist from the Glendale Arizona show. Here is the Metallica setlist from New Mexico tour date:
That Was Just Your Life
The End Of The Line
Creeping Death
For Whom The Bell Tolls

Broken, Beat And Scarred
Cyanide
Sad But True
Until It Sleeps
No Remorse
The Day That Never Comes
Master Of Puppets

Nothing Else Matters

Metallica continue the World Magnetic world tour in support of the new album Death Magnetic with a concert in Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Check out the full list of tour dates of the USA leg of the Metallica world tour.
